Chalkboard Chic or what my friends call "White & Black Sweep" is my way of adding neutral colors to my wardrobe, which seriously lacks neutrals. Over the weekend, a special someone gifted me the highly coveted and "it" shoe right now, the Daffodil by Christian Louboutin in black. Being the addict I am, I grab my fashion dependent (aka Mom) and went shopping for outfit or two, thus the beginning of my CC of the summer. For inspiration, I drew from these four photos above. I took J.Lo's nude clutch (my patent nude Coach bag), Olivia's bone cardigan (C&C 3/4 sleeve cardi), Kim K's crisp white top (ASOS white flutter tee), and Kourtney's beige linen pants (we have the same M.C.C.P Delia's pant) and black belt (my vintage black suede belt). I must say I really liked the outfit and the pumps were comfortable for my 2 hour spree.
I didn't wear them to work though. FLATS are a must. For now, I have a meeting to go to. Go treat yourself to some retail therapy, you are worth it.
