Update!

I know I have basically missed all of last week, but I have good reason. I've been sick with strep and sprained my ankle taking a Zumba class at my gym. A girl tries to stay in shape and this is what happens when you don't get the proper rest SLEEP! Believe me I have learned my lesson. Thanks for the get wells... truly appreciated. Now I'm back in full force :)

Here are my top 4 looks of the night. My absolute favorite would have to be Fergie's Herve Leger dress. When it comes to music award shows, the looks should show some edge of their artistic creativity. Love the looks ladies.

Effortless

I didn't know what to wear today so I got on the computer and went to one of my favorite sites looking for inspiration... This is what I got. I love the light chambray and light denim skinnies combo Pippa Middleton has going on, but Cheryl Cole's bone colored blazer (I die for blazers!!) is just too good to pass up. Borrowing my mom's Tibi blazer in the same color, I combined Pippa's top and bottom with some Lucky Brand chunky cognac high heeled sandals (so comfortable) and a mustard colored crossbody. Love when a great outfit comes together :) Well off to the gym and run errands for the day!

Pattern Your Form

For a girl who loves patterns (almost every top I own is patterned some type of way), these dress forms are a dream. Dress forms can be used in decor for a room or for its original purpose: a form for making clothes. These by EEM by Stockman dress forms are the epitome of what every designer, fashion student, or just a fab person would die for (I know I would). I have a dress form in my office but nothing like these. It's a shame that I only begun to shop at American Eagle when I began working there almost a year ago. I love how the fit of jeans are and quality the brand actually has compared to other competitors. Since I do work there currently and have a employee discount, the total will be different for you. Here are some of the items on my wishlist and with my dream money, I am able to get my favorite crop chinos in the three colors needed/wanted and my favorite crossbody bag of the moment, the fringed mini.

Easy Going

Inspiration for my outfit of the day. Love both looks and easy going vibe. I have more of a body shape like Kim's with full hips and rather large backside, so I will have to go with a romper with a vintage belt I have but use Eva's scarf and flats to give it my type of flair :)

Highway Diaries 05.13

Been busy all day, getting back in the mode of being home and working this summer. Here are some of my top fav looks from lookbook.nu. If you don't know what it is, it's a fashion diary of a community of fashion enthusiasts, bloggers, experts, and/or junkies. Go there to see it for yourself. I actually wore an outfit similar to the 3rd picture from the bottom. I love color-blocking with neutrals. Secret to owning a trend is making it yours by amping it  up or toning it down to your personal liking. Well I'm off.....Gone like the Wind.....
